Andreas and Dallas give us a close look at a costume worn by Michael Douglas when he played Liberace in the HBO hit movie “Behind the Candelabra.”

These Emmy and Golden Globe winning costumes were anonymously donated to the Liberace Foundation. Designer Ellen Mirojnick studied the original costumes, designed by Anna Nateece Michael Travis and Jim Lapidus, to come as close as possible in the 2013 HBO film. The costumes and their awards are a testament to the impact of Liberace on showmanship, costume and fashion design.
