Costume Preservation SponsorPreserve the Legacy

The over 100 costumes of the Liberace Museum Collection are museum artifacts, stored, curated and exhibited to the highest standard possible.

Each costume is stored in special acid-free boxes and paper, with careful procedures taken to prevent damage, including light stuffing to prevent creasing.  Dark, cool storage is also required.  All of this is quite costly.

Liberace Foundation Members of any level seeking to help maintain the costume legacy specifically, may become Costume Preservation Sponsors.  For each sponsor, a new set up including acid free costume archival box, acid-free archival tissue paper, labeling, gloves, skilled labor and other items necessary to properly store each costume are donated by the Costume Preservation Sponsor, totaling $195.

The Costume Preservation Sponsor enjoys a special category of recognition for the life of the box obtained with their donation:

One Time Donation of $195:

  • Sponsor name exhibited on the box itself
  • Website listing at
  • Social network public thanks
  • Liberace Youtube Channel episode shows dedication, costume placement, sponsor name and thanks
  • License to display Liberace Costume Preservation Sponsor badge on website, stationary, etc.
