Membership Why Not Be Part of Our Family?
As a member of the Liberace Museum, you are not only keeping the Liberace tradition alive but, most importantly, you are helping us provide scholarships to young people pursuing careers in the performing and creative arts. Our Museum is funded through admissions, contributions and our membership program. What better way to keep the Liberace "showmanship" tradition alive than to join NOW. To date, the Liberace Foundation has awarded in excess of $5 million in scholarships and touched the lives of more than 2,200 students at over 110 colleges, universities and educational organizations in the U.S. Simply forward this email to a friend to spread the joy.
Archive Asset – Marilyn Taylor The Liberace Museum Archives contains documentation of Liberace’s life and career including, but not limited to, letters, telegrams, images, newspaper and magazine articles, scrapbooks, albums, legal documents, record albums, sheet music, books, images (photos, slides and transparencies), videos and much more. In only a few months, Cast Member Volunteer Marilyn Taylor has taken ownership of this diverse and often complex historical information. Her interest and enthusiasm has been channeled into a wide variety of tasks such as researching media articles for specific information requested by other Cast Members and the public. She has already organized the hundreds of slides and transparencies into the most requested categories such as costumes, cars and pianos. Marilyn has performed a number of important tasks involving the tagging of artifacts for inventory. She is currently working on determining the content of hundreds of videos not clearly identified as to content. Hopefully, she will find some seldom seen Liberace footage which may be used for Museum Special Projects.
